Krispy Krunchy Chicken delivers hot meals and hope to flood affected areas

August 22, 2016

Alexandria, LA- Last week, continuous rain caused flooding and devastation throughout Louisiana which resulted in over 100,000 flooded homes in multiple parishes, including East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, East Feliciana, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana. In Livingston Parish specifically, over 80 percent of the homes were flooded and more than 70,000 people affected. When the rains started, a handful of committed Krispy Krunchy Chicken team members starting organizing a community effort doing what we do best, feed people! Despite all obstacles, the KKC team stepped up and worked around the clock to provide a hot meal to thousands of Louisianans. In total over 5,000 meals were handed out in multiple areas in Livingston & Ascension Parish. This week, the Krispy Krunchy team will be in Acadia and Lafayette Parishes serving those affected in southeast Louisiana. For specific locations that we will be feeding people please refer to Krispy Krunchy Chicken’s Facebook:
